They got the last of my money unfortunately like I said the whole staff the entire time I was there with wonderful up until it was time for to discharge and I'll have to deal with that doctor.
Never said a thing about antibiotics.
Evidently, staff in their ER believes that since an individual is black, then they must be on welfare and are better off dead
Long story short had ovarian cyst bleeding out inside. They did what was necessary and I have to follow up.
I was pissed .
Not once did he even go over any of the other reasons why I was there. Most importantly my chest pain and whether or not I had Lyme's disease. NOTHING.
Chest pain,swollen glands,felt terrible, couldnt swallow, and recently got bit by a tick . Thinking maybe it was all related to thw tick bite. I havent been able to swallow. I was told by the Doctor Beierle they were giving me steriods for the inflammation.
So to the doctor and nurses thank you so much for being so caring and sweet!!!
I will also be letting Heritage Valley know the same exact information.
THEN DR. BEIERLE said then "why do you come to the ER then". What doctor do you know says that to a patient good job buddy. He sent in his supervisor of the ER Jen R to "handle" my discharge.
Highly recommend going here for emergency care. They were very caring and very sweet doctors and nurses. Took care of me right away did all the scans necessary right away found the problem immediately.
Unfortunately all the staff that I had care for me durimg my stay in sewickley was wonderful. The phlebotomist all of the nurses the X-ray Techs,the Transporters. Everyone was fabulous. Except thw doctor. I give a one star all because of the way Dr. Beierle treated me. Someone needs to do something with this "DOCTOR". " HE IS NOT PERFESSIONAL".
Went to this hospital last night for bad pain in my lower abdomen and Had blood in my urine.
“I came here with my dad the day after Christmas with an infected dog bite on my arm. I know it was a busy day, so the wait time didn’t bother me. The front desk workers and the nurse who took my vitals were very friendly. The doctor however was very rude. I understand that it’s protocol to ask about the actual ncident, but he barely looked at my arm. Once he finished with those questions, he told me he would prescribe me an antibiotic then was about to take off his gloves and send us on our way when he said “oh I guess I should clean this out before you go.” So he did that then sent us on our way. We almost made it home when I got a call that the doctor forgot to give me a tetanus shot and we had to come back. I understand that mistakes happen, but no one ever apologized. A nurse gave me the shot once I got back to the center, and the doctor never spoke to me again. It felt very unprofessional and was not the care I expected. I understand that urgent care centers are structured to be quick and efficient, but this just seemed like cutting corners.
Would not administer medication even though they knew exactly what the problem was! They like to give a ton of tests though. They get paid not to help people! I guess they are republicans! They get rich from insurance companies and do not help the sick,poor, or needy! So what are they thinking? Let's give tests and not treat a patient with the correct medicines and just hope they get better? They could change the name of the hospital to "Hope Valley". Also, why would they ask after posting a review to contact them for any concerns? Why don't they have someone there at that time that you can complain to and get the problem resolved? They create jobs for their employees without caring if they help the patients rather than to let them leave unsatisfied! It is too late to resolve the problems after their negligence was already made! I also received a notice from my insurance Co. saying that Heritage Valley and DR.Rachel Yealy charged my insurance company a total of $362 together just because I went in, signed in and told them my symptoms and she said all we can do is run a few tests, EKG, etc. BUT, they could NOT administer any medications! All I needed was one pill to get me through the night until I got in touch with my Primary DR. the next day! I NEVER did ask for a prescription! They automatically assume that people are there just to get drugs! They are really stupid! Now I received a bill in the mail! How can she honestly get paid to do nothing but waste my time? She is a sick disgusting person!
