I have only been able to visit the zen center a few times, but I have enjoyed each visit very much. The priest and his wife are very friendly and the members are very welcoming. The whole center is very friendly and has a pleasant atmosphere. The building and surrounding land are both simple and beautiful. I wish I was able to visit more often than just a few times in the past few years.
To me its heaven on earth
Very welcoming and a great diverse group of people. The head monk does a great job of bringing Soto Zen to the forefront during retreats, Sunday sessions, etc... I recommend anyone interested in religion, philosophy, etc come and visit. Donations are welcome but not required. Introductions to meditation are generally every Sunday at 8:30. If you stay for the whole event, lunch is served at 12! Always a delight as the Sangha brings lots of delicious food.
Welcoming. Friendly, lovely service and family style lunch after. Grounds are beautiful.
I have been here a few times and I must say its awesome. Flowers and rock waterfall are so cool and the Zendo its so great. The priest is awesome and very knowledge filled as well. This place has truely changed my life for the better.
